Subject: Middle-earth Casual Companion

I just got approval from ICE, Inc. to start work on a new product titled:

Middle-earth: The Wizards Casual Companion(TM)

This book is going to be a 32-page, 8.5"x11", saddle-stitched book priced at
$5.95. The market it is aimed at is the casual Tolkien fan; not a die-hard
gamer. It will be finished for the convention season this summer, namely
Origins and GenCon. I'm looking for: 

**Simple decks made with mostly common and uncommon cards from the METW
set.
**Simple solitaires and scenarios based on common and recognizable themes
from the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books.
**Tips to help a beginning player out, remember, not a person that normally
plays CCGs.
**A list of common mistakes that you made when you first learned how to play
and what you did to avoid them.
**You get the idea! Use your imagination!
**The submissions should be type-written or computer generated, no hand
written submissions, please.
**Send finished decks, etc. only. Also submit a description and title for the
submission to let me know what theme you are persuing. The world is full of
great ideas but few people can take them to completion.
**The decks/scenarios/solitaires should be fully play-tested with notes on
how they played and any potential problems.

All submissions must go through the usual approval process and are not
guaranteed to go into the book. Payment will be small, probably a copy of the
finished Casual Companion, credits in the book, and some MECCG product as
well.
